Director Dayton Area Board of Realtors supports Kettering Schools operating levy

Gavin Blair, the Director of the Dayton Board of Realtors (DABOR), is featured on the latest Citizens for Kettering City Government Schools propaganda mailer supporting the levy.

Blair is not a Kettering resident. He lives near Columbus in Pickering, and maintains a Dayton apartment. He admits that he has never attended a school board meeting, nor any of the public meetings by the Board of Elections on the levy. He didn’t know the Leader of the Citizens for Kettering City Government Schools was appointed to the vacant seat on the BoE. He didn’t even know how much taxpayers subsidize administrators and educators in salaries, benefits, step raises and other perks. He claims the DABOR PAC is “voluntary” that realtors can opt to participate in. His philosophy as Director is to engage in political campaign efforts to promote the real estate industry in Dayton. “Plans to significantly increase the organization’s political influence locally and statewide.”

The DABOR PAC also supported seven other local levies. Make sure your realtor does not support taxes that work against you to “add value” to your property that make it increasingly less affordable too live here.

Please call Gavin Blair at 937-223-0900 and express your dissatisfaction that he has interjected himself and the Dayton Area Board of Realtors who have no “skin in the game” against the resident property owners and taxpayers in Kettering!
