Peggy Studebaker, a school secretary accused on drug charges, has been with the Kettering school district 23 years, according to the district. A woman arrested at her Kettering residence Friday morning on drug charges is a secretary at Kettering Fairmont High School.
Peggy L. Studebaker, 58, was arrested at 1525 Barton Ave. after the Kettering Detective Section and the Kettering Regional S.W.A.T. Team executed a search warrant following an investigation into drug activity at the residence. Police said surveillance led them to suspect illegal drug activity was being committed.
Marijuana and guns were confiscated, as well as evidence of a trafficking operation, according to the police department.
Kettering City Schools incoming Superintendent Scott Inskeep confirmed that Studebaker is a secretary at the high school. She has been put on administrative leave and a disciplinary hearing will be scheduled for as early as next week.
