Memorial Day
Remember Them
If you are able, save for them a place inside of you
and one backward glance when you are leaving,
for the places they can no longer go.
Be not ashamed to say you loved them,
though you may or may not always have.
Take what they have left and what they have taught you
with their dying and keep it with your own.
And in that time when men decide and feel safe to call the war insane,
take one moment to embrace those gentle heroes you left behind.

New Hampshire Government School suspends girl over Facebook post
The mother of a Concord middle school student is decrying the school district after her daughter was suspended due to a Facebook post. Kimberly Dell’isola said her daughter was suspended for five days after saying she wished Osama bin Laden killed her math teacher. “You are denying her an education based on something she did at home. That’s my business, not your business,” Dell’isola said.
What the girl said was inexcusable, but by what right does a government school have in disciplining her for actions taken outside of the indoctrination center? If she had posted the message on a government school computer, during her period of indoctrination, otherwise known as the “school day” — I would understand, but that wasn’t the case. It simply amounts to…

Government school board candidate loses election because she didn’t vote for herself
One vote was all Burton resident Lisa Osborn needed to win a seat on the Bentley Board of Education. She didn’t get any, not even one from herself. “I’ve never seen that happen before where a valid write-in candidate didn’t get a single vote,” said Doreen Fulcher, Genesee County elections supervisor for the last six years.
Osborn said she was at her son’s baseball game at Flint Southwestern Academy and didn’t vote on May 3. “We were like, ‘Oh my goodness,’” Osborn said, referring to herself and her husband.

Multiple government school levies fail across the Miami Valley
They failed with the Huber Heights, Beavercreek, Lebanon, and Little Miami to name just a few.
WDTN reports that voters only approved 86 of 146 Ohio school tax measures. That translates to a success rate of 58%, or in other words, government schools once again scored an “F”.
First witnesses testify that China Arnold’s baby spent 2 minutes in microwave
Two forensic pathologists, the first two witnesses in China Arnold’s third trial, testified that her baby died in a microwave oven.
Russell Uptegrove, the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office pathologist who performed the autopsy on Paris Talley, went first, starting Tuesday afternoon and finishing Wednesday morning. Uptegrove said the 28-day-old baby died after her temperature reached 107 to 108 degrees Fahrenheit. Asked how long the baby was in the microwave, Uptegrove cited studies of pigs that survived two minutes in a microwave. “It would have taken at least two minutes,” Uptegrove said.
